Condensation

Condensation is the moisture in the air that finds a cool surface to cling to. As moist air cools down, it loses some of its ability to hold onto the water vapor that it contains and that moisture turns into a film of water on any cool surface that it comes into contact with. Tents and tarps will experience condensation in the night based on the moisture in the air, temperatures and airflow within the tarp or tent.
