Cowboy Camp

A cowboy camp is another term for sleeping outside, without a shelter, bivouacking under the stars as the cowboys of the old west might have done. Given a suitable climate and favorable weather it is an expedient choice when you need to bed down fast or after a particularly exhausting day. Cowboy camping means less gear, less weight and less time for shelter set up and take down.
