Three Passes Equals Shredding of the Feet!

Got 16 miles in today and am super proud of my day as I hit 3 passes, two of which don’t have names. While my focus for the last few days has been managing achilles pain in my right foot with no plantar issues, today was the opposite. I managed to change my body mechanics ascending the 4k or so feet of elevation gain so that my achilles was not hurting, but then the plantar kicked in. I occurred to me that I still have my Montrail insoles, which would give me a little bit more support as I transition into my Altras and they seemed to help a bit …. But at the end of the day, I’m shredding my legs and feet with the huge elevation gain and loss that I’m walking every day ….this is a tough section!
