Hey there, your making your way well. how was the terrain in Nevada? looks sort-of difficult but easier than the passes to the south. I guess you could call me “Keys”, “Alfa” as Clicker suggested, or “Tender Foot” as the guy with the pitbull suggested. After telling a few stories at home I am called “Shit happens” but I would’ve preferred “It happens” or call me Jessie. How are you faring?

Hiya! The trail doesn’t go into Nevada, but comes close! I’ve just taken yet another week off for my feet to heal and am leaving in the AM …. Hate having to take time off and lose momentum, but the last section was brutal! This has been a low point in the trip for sure, but that’s the natural cycle with great change, high highs and low lows …. haven’t felt this lonely or bummed yet, but should feel much better when I’m back on trail. The reality is that my thru might be over if my feet don’t heal, so hoping the easier terrain that is coming up will make a difference …. Thanks for saying hi!
